30th Ave Food Drive

Shepherds Works has been spending the last few weeks collecting donations to give to the local communities. With many local stores either being closed due to Covid-19 or affected by the riots, people now more than ever are having a harder time finding basics essentials like food, personal hygiene products, and baby supplies.

The outpouring of people wanting to help in any way possible was amazing! We had families and friends come with trailers full of supplies, pictures drawn by children and notes written to put in the bags to say “We Care”. The weeks were filled with countless efforts from so many across Minnesota and beyond.

In the parking lot of Berean Baptist Church volunteers started setting tables up at 8am and by 9am Shepherds Works was ready for the neighborhood. For the next 7 hours volunteers helped pass out over 2,500 pounds of supplies. Many thanks to all whom donated, volunteered and supported this much needed cause.
